Summary

This temporary, part-time position provides technical support and administrative assistance for the Service Development Department. Responsibilities include maintaining transit operations and ridership associated databases, providing field analysis of service issues, and collecting and analyzing field data to provide effective and efficient scheduling and routing solutions associated with the operation of LBT's fixed bus route service.

With a total of 470 Bus Operators, we have 228 buses (including standard buses as well as our smaller Passport vehicles, and others) in service at any one time. We plan to continue offering a wide range of transportation options to Long Beach, and to remain ahead of the curve for public transit.
