The mission of Long Beach Transit to provide public transportation services that enhance and improve the quality of life for the people in our community. The Coach Operator helps ensure this mission is achieved by providing excellent customer service and safely transporting passengers to their destinations. No bus driving experience is necessary.

LBT has two operating facilities in the city of Long Beach and has nearly 800 employees.

Paid training at $10.16 per hour.

Starting rate after training $13.25/hr. with annual raises.

Qualifications
To be a good fit for this opportunity, you must:

Be 21 years or older.

Hold a valid California driver's license and have a safe driving record (at least two years with a CA driver's license).

Be able to upgrade driver's license to a Class B license.
Preferred qualifications include:

At least one year of experience involving public contact is preferred.
